Important Notes:
- It’s always better to pitch an idea first, rather than invest time and effort only to be disappointed by a rejection.
- Topic: The guest post should be related to esports or online gaming. We welcome articles on a wide range of topics, including game reviews, game guide, how-to, video game walkthrough, esports tournaments, player profiles, gaming industry news, and analysis of gaming trends, etc
- Length: The article should be between 600 to 2,000 words. Please make sure that the content is well-researched and provides value to our readers.
- Originality: We only accept original content that has not been published elsewhere. Please indicate this clearly in your pitch, and whether the article has been published elsewhere, and if so, in what language and in which publication. Please ensure that the article is not plagiarized and does not violate any copyright laws.
- Images and videos: Please include relevant images and videos to support your article. Make sure that you have the rights to use the images and videos, or they are licensed under Creative Commons.
- Style: The article should be written in a clear, concise, and engaging style. We encourage writers to use a conversational tone and avoid using technical jargon or acronyms that may be unfamiliar to our readers.
- Links: You are welcome to include up to two backlinks to your website or blog in the article. However, the links should be relevant to the content and not promotional in nature.
- Author bio: Please provide a short author bio (50 to 100 words) at the end of the article, including your name, a brief description of yourself, and a link to your website or social media profile.
- Submission: Please submit your guest post as a Word document or Google Doc rather than a PDF, along with the images and videos, to our editorial team at least two weeks before the
- To assist in fact-checking and aid transparency for readers, we would like all assertions or references to factual events to contain a hyperlink (which doesn’t have to be to an English-language source) or to clearly cite the source of the information.
- Because of the large volume of submissions, we will contact you only if your piece is accepted. If you do not hear from us within three business days, please feel free to submit your article to other publications.
- Please submit your article or pitch just once. Should the newsroom not accept your piece, please feel free to approach the EsportsAsia.com editor.
- We reserve the right to edit the article for clarity, style, and grammar. We also reserve the right to reject any article that does not meet our guidelines or editorial standards.
