FUT Birthday is a fan-favorite FIFA Ultimate Team promo that never fails to deliver — and it’s expected to make a return in FIFA 23.
The FUT Birthday promo is a yearly event that celebrates the anniversary of FIFA Ultimate Team. FIFA 23 will mark Ultimate Team’s 14-year anniversary.
FIFA 22’s FUT Birthday event introduced new player items, SBCs, objectives, login bonuses, and FUT Birthday Swaps.

When is FUT Birthday 23?
FIFA Ultimate Team made its first appearance on March 19, 2009 during FIFA 09 – so fans can always expect FUT Birthday to be celebrated around the same time.
While some players may have forecasted it in early March, just before that usual date, EA, instead, released the Fantasy FUT Promo and FUT Ballers. That means that FUT Birthday is coming later than usual on Friday, March 24. It’ll likely last for two weeks before we move on to the next promo on the calendar.
FIFA 23 FUT Birthday players leaked
Over the years, we’ve seen some wild cards being released around FUT Birthday – no one is going to forget that 87-rated Nick Pope, for starters.
When it comes to FIFA 23, a handful of names have already been leaked, as FUTSheriff confirmed that current players and ICONs will both be getting new versions in FUT Birthday. Here’s who has been leaked so far:
